Associate Degree of Hospitality and Hotel Management (ATHE Level 4 Diploma in Hospitality and Hotel Management and ATHE Level 5 Diploma in Hospitality and Hotel Management)

Overview

The Associate Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Management is a 240 credit size qualification (UK), equivalent in size to the first two years of a bachelor’s degree.

The programme comprises 20 subjects, 10 taught per year. It is tutored via an e-tutoring process where the instructional course material is made available online, with each student assigned a personal tutor to help guide them through the programme.

This programme is designed to fulfil the associate membership requirements of the Institute of Management Specialists (UK) and to provide students a pathway to directly enter the Third Year of a Bachelors program at a number of UK universities.

The Programme can be studied as both a standalone programme, or as an extension to the Level 4 Diploma in Hospitality and Hotel Management.

At level 5, learners are expected to understand the more strategic aspects of business administration as well as governance structure and organisational context.

Why Study an Associate Degree of Hospitality and Hotel Management at SCPU Business School ?

This is one of the only solely Hospitality and Hotel Management programmes, rather than Hospitality and Tourism, making it ideal for people wishing to develop their supervisory, leadership and knowledge within the hotel industry.

We provide a flexible, low cost route for learners who have already achieved management qualifications at a lower level and for learners who do not have management qualifications, but may have qualifications in other areas and/or prior experience in the work place.

Due to the flexibility of the program it is ideal for students who wish to complete a UK Bachelors degree, but study in their home country for the first two years, or experience living in another country (Switzerland).

What does it cost ?

USD $5,000

This can be paid in six installments

USD $850 upon enrollment
USD $850 upon completeion of the first 5 subject
USD $800 upon completeion of the first 10 subject
- Succesful Student swill be awarded a Diploma of Hospitality and Hotel Managent at this point
USD $850 at the start of the students second years study
USD $850 upon completeion of the first 15 subject
and a final installment of USD $800 upon completion of the program.

Awards

Students successfully completing this programme will be awarded a SCPU Business School - Associate Degree of Business Management.

Students successfully completing this programme will also be awarded both an ATHE Level 4 Diploma in Hospitality and Hotel Management and ATHE Level 5 Diploma in Hospitality and Hotel Management.

Progression Pathways

Students wishing to continue their studies can then enrol directly into the SCPU - Business School Bachelor of Hotel Management.

Students who wish to, can apply to continue their studies at a number of UK universities. As these qualifications are OFQUAL approved, UK universities will generally accept the credits awarded to students.
